Description
An admirably approachable Italian red from Tenuta San Guido, producer of Sassicaia.
Le Difese is rich in dark cherry and leather notes, with wonderfully supple tannins.
This expression is made from 70% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes and 30% Sangiovese grapes, and ages in French and American oak barrels for 12 months before bottling.
