Description
Coming in September 2026 Quinta do Combro Tinto 2023!
A typical DOC Douro wine, with grapes from old vineyards (Field Blend), through controlled fermentation with indigenous yeasts and a wooden stage for 18 months. It has an intense aroma of red and black fruits, in balance with aromas of spices, tobacco and leather. In the mouth, it displays structure, intensity, a lot of body and firm tannins.
Winemaking process
Red wine produced in granite lagares with treads on foot for two days and then transferred to stainless steel vats with temperature control during fermentation. Both fermentations, alcoholic and malolactic, occurred spontaneously, with indigenous yeasts and lactic bacteria, respectively. The internship took place in French oak wood for 18 months.
